Management Accounts

In its simplest form Bookkeepers input the numbers into order using the ‘Double Entry’ principle, Accountants take this information to produce a set of accounts, Management Accountant’s then analyse this information to really understand what the numbers are telling us about the business. Management Accounting is not just for large companies, it can be just as beneficial to both sole trader’s and SME’s too giving you that critical edge over your competitors.

There are countless ways in which having good management account information can benefit your business which all fall into three key areas:

  • Stronger Decision Making – by showing the true financial impact of a particular decision

  • Boosting Profitability - by carefully monitoring each operational process such as sales, costs and product ranges, etc

  • Stronger Financial Reporting – by being ‘inwardly focused’ as oppose to financial accounting which is ‘outwardly focused’

I have plenty of experience in this area and can produce monthly/quarterly management accounts which are specifically designed to suit the needs of your business.

+ Management accounts include regular updates on year to date:

  • Profit and Loss
  • Balance Sheet
  • Tax Analysis

The quoted fee also includes a QuickBooks Recharge Fee which is discounted by approximately 50% based on the typical fee’s you would pay directly. Other accounting software options are available.

Fee’s will be agreed upfront and based on the time involved and not the profit you make!

They include annual fillings as and when they are needed, so no hidden unexpected fees at the end of the year.
